Overview:
The rule of thumb for determining the size to use is the band should be about one quarter to one third the width of the gate. If the gate is over six feet high then a third hinge should be utilized (one hinge for every three feet of height). Hinges may be used for a flush or jamb mount. Cranked band hinges are very robust, and can be used mounted flush with front post or set back (jamb mount). Latches are attractive and operate from both sides. Gate springs no rusting, no busting are heavy duty made of 304 stainless steel.
