Shingle Calculator

Wood shingles are much like regular asphalt shingles. They must be over lapped to work correctly and allow the water to drain off. The exposure is the amount of shingle that is not covered by the shingle that you put on top.

How to calculate the number of bundles you will need is:
(Length * Width) = sqft

Each bundle of shingles will cover:

• 20 sqft if you have a 4 inch exposure
• 25 sqft if you have a 5 inch exposure
• 30 sqft if you have a 6 inch exposure
